The night I took this there were a number of snails cruising the area and I thought it looked a little like a group of martial arts students under instruction. Obviously this one was being paid special attention by sensei!

I expect he was made to chop wood and carry water later on as well......

I posted this picture in Elwyn's "Stillness" Group Pool because it was taken at night when everything was quiet and asleep. Well, apart from the wee beasties who were quiet active! But, nevertheless, this particular snail, between its elegant, Tai Chi like motions, was well schooled in stillness. Though perhaps it was just too scared to move much! :)
