Melroy Heemskirk, Coloni-Ford Cosworth FC189 (C3), 2017 Festival Italia, The F1 Demonstration, Brands Hatch, 13th August

            A rare sight to see on a circuit these days given that one hasn't officially been raced in a Grand Prix since Portugal 1989. Brazilian driver Roberto Moreno retired with electrical problems in that race. After initially having the teams best ever qualifying in 15th, he was hit in the rear quite severely by the American Eddie Cheever's Arrows in the Sunday morning warm-up. The team last attempt at pre-qualifying with this particular car would the 1989 Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide. The FC189 chassis however would prove as a design basis for the two cars for the 1990 season which raced which both Subaru and Ford engines but would sadly never qualify for a race. Likewise in the teams last season in 1991 the similar designed C4 chassis never passed the pre-qualying stage.
