NEW LOCK + NEW BRIDGE, STAVELEY RP1_6926

             Construction of new lock along route of historic Chesterfield canal, north of Staveley. You clearly see the flat base & the reinforcement bars of the bottom of the lock.
The bridge carries the Trans Pennine Trail over the canal route.
