Countryside Patriotism? - a photo on Flickriver

            Or just artwork?  We were on a tiny little back road, winding up to the top of a mountain when we came across this.  It's painted on a piece of corrugated tin and hanging on a wire fence.  What I found curious about it was that there were only 5 stars on it.  A quick google search didn't turn up any specific reason for only five stars... but then maybe it's just art work representing the flag.....  Anyway, it made a pretty scene with the tree arching over it and the mountain in the back ground.  This road was filled with all sorts of oddities, but my favorite was a house that had a fence around it made of bicycle bodies.  Two tiers high, all colors, it was the most fanciful fence ever. Unfortunately the photos are not very good because there was too much going on in the background of the fence.   Maybe someday I will become adept at processing a photo like that... but this isn't the day! LOL
