The Autumn Rose - a photo on Flickriver

The Autumn Rose

            So this is my 'Scentimental' variegated floribunda rose, situated among the Chinese Pistachio trees in their Autumn attire.

And, btw, it is called 'Scentimental', not 'Sentimental'.
Which is weird, but there it is.
It was bred by renowned rose grower, Tom Carruth, in the USA. Circa 1999. 

'Scentimental' is a variegated rose much like 'Candy Stripe' and 'Abracadabra', BUT, unlike those roses (which I also have in the garden) it is fragrant. 

Photographed last week in the Hills District of Sydney.

So, technically it is Winter here in Sydney, but Autumn just seems to be powering on and on. 

My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L II USM macro lens.
