Autumn mood in the forest - a photo on Flickriver

            Wooded Mariëndaal estate (114 ha), north of the Dutch city of Arnhem, in autumn mood.

Landgoed Mariëndaal in herfststemming. 
Mariëndaal ligt noordelijk van Arnhem, direct buiten de stad richting Oosterbeek. Het schitterende heuvelachtige landschap (114 ha) bestaat uit bossen, maar ook bouwlanden en weilanden met vee, lanen, sprengen, beekjes en vijvers. 
Het is een populair wandelgebied waar de hond los mag.
Mariëndaal is in bezit van stichting het Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen, en valt grotenddeels onder de gemeente Arnhem en voor een klein deel onder de gemeente Renkum.
