The colour purple

Today's image was taken on Tuesday evening on another photography workshop this time finishing with a sunset at Carhead rocks which you will know is one of my favourite places in the Peaks, the afternoon light was a bit hit and miss with quite a bit of haze and the possibility of a sunset was looking slim, luckily we did get some lovely soft pastel colours in the sky that nicely complimented the rich purple heather, not a bad way to finish the day.(1/5 f8 @ 11mm 0.9 reverse ND grad filter)
