The delightful and varied slate formations at Gunwalloe during a sunset. They are seriously slippery under wellies I can assure you. Particularly when carrying the camera on tripod and hopping between them and in knee deep wave. When the wave retreats it leaves that seductive sheen over the super smooth rock surface though, so I can get used to it.
I promised myself I wouldn't get wet again, but the very last wave of the day just wasn't going to let me get away so easily. It just had to get into my boots by any means and it succeeded. I am beginning to enjoy that sound of cold water squelching around as I walk back to the car with a grin on my face. At least the water warms up after a while.
This shoot was a real pleasure from start to finish.
I hope you like it. Shot with the reverse grad, polariser and Lee 0.6 s grad.
