* En La Puebla de Guadalupe o Guadalupe se encuentra el notable Real Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe que fue de jerónimos (siglos xiv-xv), con recinto de fortaleza y marcado acento mudéjar, construido con elementos góticos, renacentistas y barrocos. La UNESCO inscribió al Monasterio de Guadalupe en la lista del PATRIMONIO DE LA HUMANIDAD en 1993. El Monasterio ha sido testigo de momentos decisivos en la historia de España, como la audiencia en la que los Reyes Católicos ofrecieron las carabelas a Colón.
 
* Para acompañar esta evocación fotográfica acudiremos hoy a los versos de Ángel Marina, poeta guadalupano con este fragmento de su canto al Monasterio.
