It's a sad tale... residents In one of our small local towns used to enjoy their own handy set of recycling dumpsters These dumpsters were really nice, they sat near the center of town and were convenient for all the local folks to use.
At first, they were used properly; old cardboard was collected and sent away to be re-cardboarded, and scrap plastic was gathered up and shipped off to be re-plasticized.
But then, people began to abuse the dumpsters. Scoundrels began to leave their trash and garbage piled up around the dumpsters, in complete violation of recycling ethics.
People tried to warn others to stop... but people couldn't spell, and apparently the message did not get across.
So after enough violations and abuse, the dumpsters were removed, and now there is no recycling convenience in the town.
Just another sad and semi-tragic tale of the ups and downs of small town rural life.
