            Caught in the act of regurgitating a fish, this Wood Stork parent is feeding its nestlings who grab the fish off the floor of the nest. Look closely… both chicks have the same fish in their beaks. It is fortunate that their parent has another fish to offer them. Wood Storks are the only native stork in North America. While their populations are not of concern globally, the Wood Stork population in the United States is classified as endangered.
