Monsieur et Madame Ginoux de Vincent Van Gogh

            Il Museo Revoltella di Trieste ospita dal 22 febbraio e fino al 30 giugno 2024 una mostra dedicata a Vincent Van Gogh.
Quella che viene presentata a Trieste, è la cosiddetta “mostra dei record”, visitata in pochi mesi da 600.000 visitatori a Roma.
L’esposizione di Trieste è arricchita da una presenza speciale: i due ritratti di Monsieur e Madame Ginoux (i proprietari del caffè di Arles frequentato da Van Gogh), realizzati nel 1890, conservati uno nel Kröller-Müller Museum di Otterlo e l’altra alla Galleria Nazionale di Roma, che per la prima volta si ritrovano insieme.

The Revoltella Museum in Trieste hosts an exhibition dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh from 22 February until 30 June 2024.
What is presented in Trieste is the so-called "record exhibition", visited in a few months by 600,000 visitors in Rome.
The Trieste exhibition is enriched by a special presence: the two portraits of Monsieur and Madame Ginoux (the owners of the Arles café frequented by Van Gogh), painted in 1890, one preserved in the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo and the other at the National Gallery in Rome, who will meet together for the first time.
