San Martino Castle - Vittorio Veneto

The castle in the image is the "san Martino Castle". It has very ancient and incertain origins. The first testimonies of its existence data back to the sixth century. For many years it was seat of local nobles such dukes and counts, but for about a thousand year it has been a bishopric. For this reason, among the local population, it is known also as the " Bishop Castle "
