Rose - Volksgarten, Vienna 2020-06-11

            In Vienna's small but beautiful rose-garden on the Ringstrasse 
 - surrounded by the Parlament Building, the Town Hall, the Burgtheater, the Chancellery, the Presidential Office, the Imperial Winter-Palace, the Art-history and Natural-history Museums - the roses, for the time-being at least, are well past their best.  Some individual blossoms, however, are still well  worth a photograph!

This lens, stopped down,  can produce wonderfully crisp sharp pictures.  Wide open, its softness can be magical.
