A Faerie & A Demon Have A Chat - a photo on Flickriver

            I have been going through 3 different photo editing programs and deleting thousands of photos in an attempt to free up storage space on my computer.  It's really been fun to come across some old stuff I haven't thought about in some time.  
I ran across some old smoke photos I played around with between 2010 and 2012.  I used a very crude setup - flashlights shining up at a stick of incense and doing long-exposures in the dark with my 70-300 lens.  
This was one of the very first ones I tried and as I look at it now, I can't believe I ended up with anything usable with a 15 second exposure.  I never went that long afterwards.
The success rate was incredibly low - at least the way I did it - but I would return to it now and again because when it did work, it was very cool.
