Litzirüti / RhB ABe 8/12 3509 - a photo on Flickriver

            More than 60 years after the merger of Bernina and Arosa railways with its DC electric equipment, the ABe 8/12 Allegra trains delivered from 2009 are the first RhB trains being able to operate under the original RhB AC system as well as under wires. They operate mainly (but not only) on the two original DC routes, but as the Arosa line was changed to AC in 1997, DC equipment is not used here anymore... On a quite low-season day in early spring 2018, 3509 is pulling just one EWII second-class car towards Arosa, most of the other trains that day were EMU-only. The train left Litzirüti shortly and is passing a mountain farmer's house in the only double-bend on the line.
