Slate Slab Bridge - Watkin Path, Snowdon

            Took this Mid Morning shot Tuesday 18th May 2021, when exploring the waterfalls, rock pools and other slate quarry industrial remains on the Watkin Path that eventually leads to Snowdon's Summit, Snowdonia National Park, North West Wales, Gwynedd.  

When much higher, two hours later, had to abort my planned summit trip due to bad weather. Not a problem - had a very successful day's photo shoot though!   

This was my 'Lunchtime' view beside Afon Cwm Llan, which emphasises the unusual balanced stone construction - just above the main waterfalls with the distant background peaks of - left Mymydd Llyndy 293m (961ft) and - right Moel y Dyniewyd 382m (1,253ft).  

Although not visible in this shot, below the bridge is a beautiful turquoise coloured pool which I photographed separately. 
 
In fact as I climbed higher, following the river behind me, there are many more clear and vividly coloured pools reflecting the geology.
