            Wellington Arch

The Wellington Arch, also known as the Constitution Arch is a Grade I listed triumphal arch by Decimus Burton constructed in 1826-30, it is situated at the top of Constitution Hill at Hyde Park Corner.  The bronze statue on top of the arch is a representation of 'Peace descending on the Quadriga of War' by the sculptor Adrian Jones and was installed in 1912.
