Heavens fire .

            Another shot in my beach and pier series, this is sunrise last Saturday at Lancing/Worthing beach. I have never before had the privilege of shooting such an intense sky as this so it was important to get everything right in camera to capture the flow back into the sea that I wanted, a long exposure would have taken all definition out of the sky which would have spoiled the image . . 
A combination of ISO and aperture gave me the shutter speed I had been aiming for which was 0.6 seconds for this image,  a combination of ISO 50 and f20 just slows down the shutter , I would not normally shoot at this narrow aperture because of diffraction  but I feel to get the shutter speed I wanted without using  filters  cancels out any softness issues at this aperture and I don`t believe there are, given the scene that I was presented with I shot in full raw which gave me an image of 42.4MBS, when I had finished my edit the image was 120MBs.
