The Bell, Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire.

            An eye-catching pub at the top of the hill as one approaches the small town from Chipping Norton.
My drop off point for two circular walks centred on Stow, this one in early September and the latest in late October, a few days ago.
 I think I might mix them together as that would certainly give a flavour of the Stow and it's beautiful surroundings - but really because I can't resist posting later more developed autumn colours. 
Both lovely, varied, and easyish walks, but with steady hills. Perfect (although too busy with through traffic in Stow on the Wold, scenery, and idyllic Cotswold villages.
