Smoky Mountain Sunset - a photo on Flickriver

            Would you look at that Smoky Mountain sunset!? On this chilly spring evening at the Newfound Gap overlook near the Tennessee - North Carolina state line, smoky mist settled in between the mountain ridges while the sky balanced their purple and blue hues with the soft red and gold of the setting sun. The subtle green of the pines add depth to their dusky silhouettes.
