I had shaken the strainer diligently and quickly. Back and forth. The deep blisters on my hands had grown into thick calluses, cracked and black. You don't believe how high I could jump in the air despite deep exhaustion when I was finally allowed to impale this fat chunk. „There was a band playing in my head*.“ What luck ;-)

„Im gelben Dunst der Sonne*...“ Wie herrlich glitzert es da. Könnt Ihr es sehen? Das goldene Etwas? Eifrig hatte ich meine Spitzhacke geschwungen, immer wieder und wieder. Auf und ab. Fleißig und schnell hatte ich das Sieb geschüttelt. Hin und her. Die tiefen Blasen an meinen Händen waren zu dicken Schwielen gewachsen, rissig und schwarz. Ihr glaubt nicht, wie hoch ich trotz tiefster Erschöpfung in die Luft springen konnte, als ich endlich diesen fetten Brocken aufspießen durfte. „Da spielte eine Band in meinem Kopf*.“ Was für ein Glück ;-)

Ingredients: Calendar sheet with wooden barrack as a motif (Eva Fürstová, Prague), wooden toothpicks, gold tooth filling (exchanged properly a long time ago, 0.03 inch).
