Reflejo de la Torre Sevilla - a photo on Flickriver

            Torre Sevilla es el primer rascacielos de Sevilla, se inauguró en 2015 y tiene una altura de 180,5 m., 73 pisos y es el edificio mas alto de Andalucía y el séptimo de España, el proyecto fue promovido por Cajasol que mas tarde fue absorbido por la Caixa. Su fachada es de vidrio y acero con ventanales de aluminio. El proyecto ganador, entre cinco estudios de arquitectura, fue el del arquitecto argentino Cesar Pelli, que le dio, y todavía hay quien lo llama así, su nombre en un principio. Como todos los edificios de esta ciudad, tiene admiradores y detractores, siendo parte de un plan de expansión y modernización que sitúa, como en otras urbes del mundo a estas grandes construcciones en las afueras. Esta fotografía la tomé desde la puerta del antiguo monasterio de la Cartuja donde, y según que horas del día, da un reflejo cambiante en un pequeño lago artificial. Hoy día, este edificio alberga oficinas, un hotel  y un restaurante panorámico en la última planta.

Torre Sevilla is the first skyscraper in Seville, it was inaugurated in 2015 and has a height of 180.5 m., 73 floors and is the tallest building in Andalusia and the seventh in Spain, the project was promoted by Cajasol which later became absorbed by la Caixa. Its facade is made of glass and steel with  aluminum windows. The winning project, among five architecture studios, was that of the Argentine architect Cesar Pelli, who gave him, and there are still those who call him that, his name at first. Like all the buildings in this city, it has admirers and detractors, being part of an expansion and modernization plan that places these large buildings on the outskirts, as in other cities in the world. I took this photograph from the door of the old Cartuja monastery where, depending on what time of the day, it gives a changing reflection in a small artificial lake. Today, this building houses offices, a hotel and a panoramic restaurant on the top floor.
