Arctic Sky

            On an evening, when the weather forecasted virtually no chance of seeing the northern lights, I went out and found a small opening in the clouds. There was still a thin layer of clouds resulting in an almost painterly look of the northern lights.
It goes to show that it is always worth to check out the local conditions before deciding it is not worth to see if the lights are visible.
