On the left, the Viennese embassy of Russia, whose criminal President Putin has unleashed a brutal war against the neighbouring country of Ukraine with thousands of casualties, including or above all among the civilian population. On the right, the Cathedral of St. Nicholas of the Russian Orthodox Church, whose leader, the "Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus" Cyril I, justifies this war partly in the same terms as Putin and also indirectly calls it a war against "sin" in the form of gay pride parades, which the West wants to impose on the oppressed Donbassers. He calls the "enemies of Russia" "forces of evil".

But Putin is not Russia, and Cyril I is not the Russian Orthodox Church. Despite the most massive repression, resistance is stirring in Russia, and resistance is also strong in the Russian Orthodox Church.
