Lamar Valley fall color - a photo on Flickriver

            Lamar Valley is a famous river valley area in Yellowstone National Park, and I was there in early October last year with my parents. Because of the snow at the beginning of our trip, we didn't see many wildlife, and that's why we decided to go to this place as the last chance before we headed to the airport. This turned out to be the right decision because we saw tons of bison, and my parents were very happy.
 
Besides seeing wildlife, the view in the valley was also amazing. The fresh snow on the distant mountains gives the scene a nice contrast with the peak fall color in the valley. A nice unexpected capture during the middle of the day.
