Crête des Spitzkoepfe et Col du Schaefferthal

            France. Vosges. Vallée de Munster. Photo prise lors d'une rando au départ du village de Mittlach(525m), en passant par la ferme auberge du Kastelbergwasen(1166m), et la chaume du Kerbholz(1073m).

Cette photo a été prise depuis la chaume du Kerbholz, qui offre un magnifique panorama à plus de 180°, en particulier au nord, vers le Hohneck(1363m) et ses environs. Sur ce cliché, au fond à droite, on peut voir le Col du Schaefferthal(1228m), qui sépare le Hohneck (à gauche hors champ) et le Petit Hohneck (à droite hors champ). Et au 1er plan, on peut voir l'impressionnante crête rocheuse des Spitzkoepfe dans les derniers rayons du soleil. Cette crête résolument alpine fait figure d'exception dans le massif vosgien et elle est d'ailleurs très renommée pour cela et très prisée des amateurs d'escalade. Le Kerbholz offre une vue de premier choix sur cette crête.
