Beschrijving

Description
Monument composed of two touching parts that depict the 19th and 21st centuries. Both parts touch each other and are connected with two open doors.
The 19th century part is a Carrara marble sculpture of Thorbecke, sitting at a desk in his study, on a marble base, Thorbecke looking obliquely backwards to the Turret of the Binnenhof.
The second, 21st century part is a stainless steel statue of two men sitting at a table and a woman sitting astride the same table, on a stainless steel base.
