About the photograph.

I booked Lulu for a two hours outdoor photo-shoot in and around Newport, Wales. The photo-shoot was to be both a graphic design asset and as standalone photographs.

So I drove to Newport, met Lulu and her husband at their home, had quick coffee and chat. When we were ready, the husband drove us, in their car, into city centre. I found a good place for the outdoor photo-shoots, and when that was done, we returned to their home for more outdoor photo-shoot.

The outdoor photographs are used in my own graphic design projects, such as the Kimberley project, specificity creating a fictional DVD case cover. You can see them in my Album titled Graphic Design & Illustrations.

However as I’ve gotten what I came for, I kind of finished too early. I’m not sure, maybe a little more than half of an hour to spare.

I think they feel bad that she was getting paid the full two hours fee, just for like about 90 minutes of photo-shoot, especially as I’m a deaf person and a single parent too, it seems to be unfair to me.

So they offered to let me finish off the two hours booking slot, by letting me do more shooting, in their mini make-shift studio which is in a spare bedroom, with a backdrop and studio lights.

I agreed, and decided to have a go. Normally I have done mostly outdoors photography, and I didn’t have much experience with studio set up. So I figured to have a go and gain some experience.

Those three photos are a few of the many shots I did.

Plus as a deaf person with speech impaired, it is often difficult for me to communicate with the models, so I figured, it would help to keep practise working with models, by finding easier ways to communicate with them. The more I work with Lulu, the more I find ways to communicate with her.

Lulu did leave a positive feedback and review about me, on my profile on the website for models, pointing out that she found me a pleasure to work with. 

As the photo-shoot was planned for on Friday, plans were made for my ex-wife to pick up the kids from school, and they spend the weekend with their mother, so that I can enjoy my free weekend, no need to rush back home.
 
About the outfit.

As Lulu is a full-time model, she had her own wardrobe of various outfits and shoes, so she would have a wider range of styles depending on what other photographers what her to wear.

Here, she is wearing her own white collarless faux fur jacket, with her own black top, dark blue jeans, and black high heels.
