Grand Marché, Saint-Denis - a photo on Flickriver

            Ce Grand Marché est à l'origine une "halle en fer" construite entre 1864 et 1866 par l'entreprise Geoges sur des plans de l'architecte Paillard abritant 21 échoppes, 16 étals pour la viande et le poisson et 256 carreaux pour les légumes et les grains. C'est aujourd'hui un marché artisanal.

This Grand Market was originally an "iron hall" built between 1864 and 1866 by the Geoges company on plans by the architect Paillard housing 21 stalls, 16 stalls for meat and fish and 256 tiles for vegetables and grains. Today it is a craft market.
