Yak-3sn2530 carries two different schemes, on the Port (left) side it is finished as the aircraft of Lt. Robert Marchi of the Free French “Normadie-Nieman”  1st Squadron Groupe de Chasse No.lll (GC3) in Russia in which he scored four victories and 2 shared

The Starboard (Right) side displays the various original codes carried before and after Yak-3 sn 2530 arrived in France from Russia in 1947.
It had been delivered to the Russian AF as White -25 before becoming White 21 which carried when in operational service with the Russian Airforce. 
In 1947 when it joined the Armee de L’Air from the Russian AF  it was re-coded as White-18 of 2nd-Lt. (Later Capitaine) Albert Lebras of  “Normadie-Nieman”  6th Squadron Groupe de Chasse No.lll (GC3) and assigned to the  Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace in Le Bourget.
Finally in 1977 it was re-painted on the Port side as White 4 in a salute to Lt. Robert Marchi of the Free French “Normadie-Nieman”  1st Squadron Groupe de Chasse No.lll (GC3).
