            Red-tailed Hawk

Taken at Hagerman's in Far North Texas up by Lake Texoma. There are lots of these up there, they are not rare, this is our most common hawk anyway, by far. Still, they are always fun to see and photograph, I can't think of a time that I said, "No, I'll just pass that shot up", that ain't going to happen. :)
This one was nice enough to let me take a shot, but 1/2 second later he was gone, they just don't hang around long.
