ÖBB 1216.141 "ÖAMTC" Luggau (1864n)

            Am 29. März 2019 bespannte die 1016.011 den KGAG 41843 von Karlsruhe nach Triest bis nach Tarvisio Boscoverde. Ab Schwarzach-St. Veit erhielt sie einen Vorspann in Form von 1216.141. Diese Lok weist eine farbenfrohe Werbung auf, die auf die Kooperation zwischen der ÖBB und dem österreichischen Automobilclub ÖAMTC hinweist. Einsätze nördlich von Villach sind rar, zumeist ist 1216.141 in Slowenien anzutreffen. So betätigte ich gerne den Auslöser, als das Taurus Tandem mit ihrem mit Aufliegern der türkischen Spedition Ekol Zug des kombinierten Ladungsverkehres bei Luggau im Gasteinertal an mir vorbeifuhr. 

On 29 March 2019 ÖBB's 1016.011 hauled freight train KGAG 41843 from Karlsruhe to Trieste to Tarvisio Boscoverde. At Schwarzach-St. Veit, the rain received support by 1216.141 in order to climb the Tauern ramp. This locomotive features a colourful advertisement that points to the cooperation between ÖBB and the Austrian Automobile Club ÖAMTC. Operations north of Villach are rare, 1216.141 is mostly to be found in Slovenia. So I gladly activated the trigger, when the Taurus Tandem with its freight train loaded with trailers of the Turkish trucking company Ekol passed me near the small village of Luggau.
