Kersenbloesem - a photo on Flickriver

Kersenbloesem

            Lang voor de mensenmassa arriveerde. Een paar uur later zou het hier zo druk worden, dat er geen anderhalve meter afstand tussen bezoekers meer kon worden gegarandeerd en het Amsterdamse Bos en de overheid het niet langer verantwoord vonden dat er hier zo veel mensen waren.

Tijdens deze vreemde tijden, waarbij het gevaar van het coronavirus overal op de loer ligt, is het leven heel anders dan we gewend waren. Gelukkig mogen we wel nog altijd van de mooie natuur genieten, mits verantwoordelijk.

Long before the crowds arrived. A few hours later it would get so crowded here, that it was no longer possible to guarantee a distance of 1.5 meters between visitors, and the Amsterdam Forest and the authorities no longer found it responsible for so many people to be here.

During these strange times, with the threat of the coronavirus looming everywhere, life isn't as we knew it. Luckily, we are still allowed to enjoy beautiful nature. As long as we do it responsibly.
