An Acadian View of the World - a photo on Flickriver

            Doing a bit of a rewind with this one.  Going back to my first (and so far only) trip to Acadia National Park.  I am very slowly, but somewhat deliberately, working a project to make a pinhole in every U.S. National Park (I may or may not include the Canadian ones too).  I did the Beehive hike solo... if you don't count my cameras, in which case I was part of a small group winding their vertiginous way up.  This was a cool hike and it had some gorgeous views.  Of course the trail often offered precarious spots for setting up a tripod but I managed.  I love my Reality So Subtle 6x17 pinhole, but it doesn't lend itself well to hand-holding.  We were a bit ahead of fall color on this trip but that made the land no less beautiful.  It was nice to see this image in the library tonight and be reminded of that beauty.
