Another photo I've been meaning to upload, this was taken pretty much around the same time as the last photo. To me more specific I took this photo after I did a quick walk around the station to see if Jazz was around anywhere but of course no luck (read my last post if your actually interested what I'm talking about). So I walked back to where Nicole was, since she was watching all our stuff and she was messing around with my photo and took a few random candid shots of all the folks at the station. Which made me realize why the hell wasn't I doing that too. Its been a long time since I actually shot any street with my DSLR, since I generally just use my rangefinder for this kind of stuff, cause damn is the shutter and mirror slap loud on my camera. But its not like I carry all my equipment on me, my DSLR kit is heavy enough as is.

This shot was taken blindly from waist level too. I'm pretty good at shooting blind hahaha, even with my 135mm F1.8 lens too. I just tried to centre myself off as best as I could, its not perfect but pretty close. Now this is where autofocus is damn nice, for shooting blind hahaha. I just waited for someone to walk down the middle of the platform and than just took a single shot and hoped they were in focus. And she was the first person to walk straight down the line, and the only shot I actually took while we were down there. Pretty much saw the photo from the back of my camera and said well I'm good, I got one good shot today and thats all I needed. I generally don't shoot street with such a telephoto lens either but can't deny that it gave me a pretty cool, look what with the shallow depth of field and all. As nice as it is to shoot close and wide I just really like that shallow depth of field look. To bad fast M mount lenses are pretty expensive and telephoto lenses can be pretty tricky to use on a rangefinder.
