Don't throw anything down here - a photo on Flickriver

            Almost 1000 m down from the top of Straumshornet to the village Straumgjerde. If you threw a stone, would you hit a roof? Probably not, but I did not dare to try.

Note the very short river, only approx. 100 m between the fjord to the right and the lake Fetvatnet to the left. The annual salmon catch here is among the highest in the region, per meter it can well be the highest in the world...

I will also assume that this can be the shortest river in the world if you only consider those who have a tributary with a significant flow. I did not notice that before now!
