Simbolitzen la bandera de la nació catalana. Foren enderrocades per la dictadura el 1928 i restituïdes per la democràcia el 2010. Rememoren la lluita dels patriotes catalans de tots els temps.

Symbolise the flag of the Catalan nation. They were pulled down by the dictatorship in 1928 and restored by the democracy in 2010. They commemorate the struggle by Catalan patriots throughout history.

Restitució, com a acte de justícia històrica, de les quatre columnes enderrocades per la dictadura l'any 1928 per seu caràcter de símbol de Catalunya.
