HSL Logistik 185 597-2 @ Unkel 🇩🇪

            De 'gouden maand oktober' zit er alweer op voor het jaar 2022. De zon klopte overuren en ook de temperaturen deden eerder denken aan de (hoog)zomer dan aan de herfst: termen als 'hittegolf in de herfst' werden door klimatologen wel eens in de mond genomen.

En wat past er dan beter om de 'gouden maand' te eren met een gouden locomotief in het warme avondlicht?
Na een heerlijk dagje aan de oevers van de Rijn, trokken we op het einde van de dag naar Unkel. De zon daalde meer en meer richting heuvels en de schaduwen werden op die manier steeds langer en in dat licht hoopten we nog op één cargo. En kijk, het geluk stond op woensdag 19 oktober 2022 helemaal aan onze kant toen we in het allerlaatste licht deze gouden 185 597 van HSL Logistik voor de lens kregen met een suikerbietentrein van Wismar Hafen (Noord-Duitsland) naar het Zwitserse Frauenfeld.

We konden dus tevreden huiswaarts - en zo was het ons dus toch gelukt om in 2022 aan de Rijn te geraken ;-)

It's always nice to spent a day on both banks of the river Rhine in 'the golden month of October'. So at the end of our day, we took place in Unkel where we saw this 'golden locomotive' of HSL Logistik in the very last sunrays of the day.
