Ca. 1920 -- Children Swimming in Rural Pennsylvania

            Photographer unknown: I found this among some old negatives in the possession of M. D. Ross at the time of his passing. The child on the far left is probably Ross, as this picture appears to be among several taken of him and other children in an old family album. This picture, so far as I know, was never printed; it was somewhat underexposed, so this is the first time in 90 years that the image has finally come to light. It's a rather charming piece of Americana. It was taken near Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, possibly at Clover Creek.
