House Sparrow Perched Before Aqua Bokeh in Downtown Seattle WA 28Feb2010

            Buildings can provide for some interesting background colors. And the urban landscape is full of birds. Here a male house sparrow (Passer domesticus) surveys the cityscape from a tree branch as people eat their lunch in an office-building courtyard. This bird carefully watched for crumbs that might be dropped.
