Fast steigungsfrei, voller Landschaftsausblicke und auf romantischen Pfaden erreicht der Weg den Noswendeler See mit seinen vielen Freizeitmoeglichkeiten und gastronomischen Angeboten. Ein Wanderweg fuer die ganze Familie.

Der ca. 6,6 ha grosse Noswendeler See wurde 1979 angestaut und bildet das Herzstueck des Naherholungszentrums zwischen Noswendel und Noswendelroth, in dem in der Hochsaison alljaehrlich eine Vielzahl von Veranstaltungen stattfinden. Der Noswendeler See wird vom Wahnbach gefuellt, der bei der Pascalhuette an der Landesgrenze des Saarlandes und Rheinland-Pfalz bei Steinberg entspringt und noerdlich von Bueschfeld in die Prims muendet.
Das Noswendeler Naturschutzgebiet „Noswendeler Bruch“ ist mit einer Flaeche von ca. 100 Hektar das groesste Feuchtbiotop im ganzen Saarland.
