Milky Way - a photo on Flickriver

Milky Way

            In the Rhine-Main area light pollution is high and photos of the Milky Way are difficult. This photo was taken near the Roßfelderstraße in Berchtesgaden. At this location at 2000 m altitude, the conditions were pretty good. No clouds, the moon had already set and only very little light pollution.  As you can see, the hut in the foreground was inhabited and machmal the light was turned on completely. Probably people were a bit worried what I was doing there in the dark? After a while a man with dog came to inquire. After our conversation, the relief on both our sides was great. For this photo I processed 20 single photos to a stack to control the luminance noise.
