20 Years of Steams Dreams: 1Z92 10:45 Yeovil Jn

            On the 16 December 1999, Steam Dreams operated their first rail charter, taking 100 passengers to Salisbury. Twenty years later, on 17 December, Steam Dreams celebrated this anniversary with a charter to Salisbury and Sherborne, which should have been hauled by 61306 Mayflower. Unfortunately Mayflower failed on the Sunday preceding the tour, but was replaced by 6233 Duchess of Sutherland for the trip, which included an exclusive Steam Dreams Carol Concert at Sherborne Abbey.
At Salisbury Station a South West Trains Class 158 unit, 158890, lurks in the background murk, watching on as 6233 Duchess of Sutherland simmers away, preparing to depart for Sherborne.
