Greenbooth & lower Naden Reservoirs - a photo on Flickriver

            Walked around the Naden reservoirs this afternoon, trying to be creative. The late afternoon sun shone across Greenbooth reservoir (the further one) lighting up the evergreens and the nearly green trees - the eye is drawn to the Norden chimney - and of course, we have to put up with the pylons and wires. This is industrial Lancashire, after all!  In the far background is Manchester - that well-known suburb of Rochdale.
