Elegant porch, no 5, St John's Road, Eastbourne, Sussex

            This slightly unusual porch is attached to a late Victorian house which is now subdivided into quite a few separate flats / apartments. Originally, however, it was a school, according to one of the residents here. It was converted into flats in the 1950s, sadly, as a lot of damage was done to the original building in the process.
