The eternal moment

            It was a summer day in 2012, I was hanging out with friends. As the day started to end, we wandered to Champ de Mars and sat on the lawn, facing the tower.

The place was crowded with families and friends sitting in small circles, drinking, chatting, laughing or just chilling out.

The sun went down, and lights went up. For a few minutes before it was completely dark, the clouds, as they were passing behind the tower, were torched red on the bottom by the last beams of sunlight from beyond the horizon.

It was a moment of magic. I wish I could relive it.
