            A 1930's view of the platform of Schiphol with the otiginal station building, now miraculously re-assemled in its entirety on the Aviodrome museum at Lelystad (Netherlands).
On the platform is the four-engined Fokker F.XXII (F.22) from the Swedish airliner  ABF [AB Flygmateriel/Stockholm ) with Swedish civil registration SE-ABA.

Next in the row is a Douglas DC-2 (licence built by Fokker) named 'Maraboe'with civil registration PH-AKM. It was unfortunately short lived. It entered the civil register on 4 May 1935 but suffered a fatal accident (with no casualties) on the airfield Bushehr in Iran on 17 July 1935.

In the words of the crash investigation (quote)

The DC-2 named "Maraboe" suffered a takeoff accident when the starboard main gear broke due to runway unevenness. The four crew and eight passengers escaped unhurt. The aircraft caught fire and burned out.

This unfortunate accident dates this picture as 1935 between the months May and July.
