            Iconostasis in the northern nave (left) of the cathedral.
When designing the cathedral, it was planned to make five vestibules (three below and two in the choir). However, according to Byzantine traditions, it was decided that in the Volodymyr's Cathedral there will be one throne in the middle nave below, and a sacristy in the left one.
On the right side of the entrance to the sacristy, on the icons are the images of St. Queen Elena and St. Tsar Constantine.

All icons of the iconostasis were created by artist Mykhailo Nesterov.

On the left is the northern entrance to the cathedral. Above the entrance, on the wall of the transept on the north side, fragments of the painting "Trial of Pilate" - an exciting crowd of people demanding execution. Christ Some of the crowd rush to make their way to the judge's tribune, but the Roman soldiers standing on both sides of it, looking at the crowd with disdain, stop them.

Іконостас у північній наві (лівій) собору. 
При проектуванні в соборі планувалося зробити п'ять притворів (три внизу та два на хорах). Однак за візантійськими традиціями було вирішено, що у Володимирському соборі внизу буде один престол у середній наві, а в лівій — ризниця.

Ікони іконостасу зліва направо:
- святий Кирилл;
- святий Мефодій;
- свята цариця Єлена;
- святий цар Костянтин.
Усі ікони створені художником Михайлом Нестеровим.

Зліва північний вхід до собору. Над входом, на стіні трансепту з північноі сторони, фрагменти картини «Суд Пілата» - хвилюючий натовп народу, що вимагає страти. Христа. Деякі з натовпу пориваються пробратися на суддівську трибуну, але римські воїни, що стоять з обох її сторін, окидають натовп поглядом зневаги, зупиняють їх.
