Spring is near and Fall is far - a photo on Flickriver

            Spring is near and Fall is far and soon winter will be but a memory.

I had some fun in the warmer weather today we had today (48F) trying to take some creative images with a retro trioplan 100mm lens mounted on my XT2.   Last fall I planted several crocuses under my lawn with the goal of them spreading out and naturalizing for a nice early spring effect.  A sure sign of spring is when the crocuses start peaking out of the ground awaking from their long sleep and bringing color back to the landscape.
